Another Lost Soul Chapter 1
Sorry it took me a while to share it with y'all. I've been so busy with band camp and other stuff but here it is.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I remember the day that I first picked up a knife. It was my first day at a new school. I was wearing my Guns and Roses t-shirt, skinny jeans and my black converse. I didn't that it would change my life. When I got to the front office to get my schedule, the secretary nearly choked on her morning coffee then quickly recovered.
"Can I help you?"
"Umm... Yes, I'm Amaris...
Another Lost Soul intro
Knives, razors, scissors, pencil sharpeners. I have used them all at one point in my life. Mainly from the time I was fifteen to eighteen. I'm 20 now, and I have decided to tell my story. I am Amaris Johnson and this is my story.
Curiousity
The one asks themselves
Is the undying true love worth it?
Does Romeo and Juliet exist?
Does a heart flow with irresistible temptations?
With a scent of lust in the winds
Romance
Kissing on the balcony
Laying in a field of flowers
A devotion to one human race
All one is left with
is
Possibilities
On The Tongue of Midnight
We write to taste life twice, in the moment and in retrospect." Anais Nin
I stand on the tongue of midnight, skyclad. Entertaining a wicked delight to frolic with the Gods of darkness and plight. They wisp amidst this ancient forest. Entering and exiting my exile through a pallid veil, rising quick to scourge their fevers upon the frail.
I face the winds that dare to kiss my skin, when I feel him enter in. A shadow of many charms, expertly flirting with fertile words. He is a stranger in my land with a fervent need...
Between the Lines of Mind
There once was a girl with a forest in her head. When the skies were clear, the world was good. On dewy mornings she would walk through the meadows in that forest, and the way the dew flew off of her black boots and onto her bare legs made her smile. From seeds grew stems and those stems grew flowers and those flowers knew to turn towards the shining sun. All the girl needed was fresh air in her lungs to feel whole, and the kindness of the forest to get by. At night, the does and their fawns would welcome her and she would sleep peacefully knowing that the bucks would keep her safe, and the...
Reminiscence
What is your ideal life partner like?
In my mind's eye, I see again the yellow fields, vast into the horizon lighted by the yellow evening sun. The rice fields with ripening yellow grains ripple with the passing wind, like a gigantic piece of cloth touched by gentle giant hands.
My village snug on a hillock overlooking the valley, only had one road access, and we seldom had any visitors. It was a very traditional village, with the outside influence being our two door school.
Everyday when we go to school we would pass along the bund that kept in water for the rice plant,...
When your question's are answered.
As I laid asleep,
God came to me in a dream.
He said.
You're not a mistake,
I didn't do this by accident.
I didn't do this to see you suffer.
I'm sorry for the torment and the pain.
But every lion needs a mane.
And you're becoming a better man,
The I ever had planned.
And if you take my hand,
I'll help you stand tall.
And I'll never let you fall again.
The worst is over and hopefully now,
You know.
All the things you wouldn't,
If you were born as normal as you wished you would.
I wanted you to know sacrifice and pain.
So...
