The Kidnappee Diary-- ChapterThree
I arrive to the party a few minutes late, but it doesn't seem as though anyone is there. I pull my phone out of my pocket and dial Luke's number.
"Hey beautiful, how are you?" He answers almost immediately.
"I'm okay, where are you?"
"Oh, yeah, I meant to call you earlier but I can't make it. I'm sorry baby girl"
"Its okay, I was just really hoping that I didn't have to be here alone." I whine softly.
"Well hey, I gotta go but call me when you get home alright?"
"Kay, talk to you later" I say...

The Kidnappee Diary-- Chapter Two
"Check mate! Another victory by the queen!" I yell loudly taunting my boyfriend Luke.
"Damn baby, how do you beat me every time?" He asks gently, putting the chess set away. I stare at him a moment. Luke has long brown hair and sky blue eyes that make me melt inside every time I look at him. "Stop doing that Vi." He says, softly blushing.
"I'm sorry Luke. I just like to admire your features, is all." I whisper so he can barely hear me over the parade of kids entering the cafeteria. Land of the socially inferior. Like any high school there...

The Kidnappee Diary-- Chapter One
I roll over on my side after hearing my alarm clock go off for twenty minutes, and by alarm clock I mean my sister. "Vi, get your big butt out of bed!" Scar yells loudly from outside my ancient looking bedroom door. Ugh. Another day following in the footsteps of my sister. I slither from under my blankets slowly and grab my clothes for the day.
I walk into the plain, tiled bathroom and look at myself. How people get Scarlet and I mixed up, I have no clue. I have shoulder length black hair and purple eyes while my sister has long, flowing, dark red hair and inhumanly green...

The Darwin Awards (First prize)
Dino Malevski worked at a fast food restaurant in Hollywood California. It was temporary work as far as he was concerned just until he was discovered by the film industry. He was a good looking lad of twenty who thought that was all that was needed was good looks and a good talking voice. He practised in front of his mirror nightly so he knew he was good and getting better.
His boss, Alfonso Grinelli, couldn't understand why he was so slow. Didn't he know Dino needed to protect his hands against the day he would become a famous movie star? And he sure as hell couldn't risk splashing...

The Wanderer by the Fire
It’s been two years… two long years since I walked off that path. I can hear the stars and the moon crying out to through the cold night’s sky, calling me, they won't get out of my head. The subtle whispers piercing my through mind. The cold wind cuts into my bones the pain it inflicts upon me brings me some degree of comfort as it distracts me from the voices, but this is but a mere distraction from the issues at hand. I still see fragments of the dreams I used to have, when I retreat into the depth of my mind… they are only glimmers of the dreams I used to have, like the brief flash from...

Bullshit: Soon to hit the Man
It was pretty late when Conscious
finally woke up to the wailing of
his alarm clock. He knew he
needed it to rouse him, because
Reasons had always told him,
"You would sleep through world
war three if no one disturbed you"
and though he never wanted to agree,
looking at the time reading 16
minutes past noon...It was clear
she had a point. "Damn..." A
slow rising Conscious shaking
loose the cobwebs said to himself.
Across town, Reasons has now
asked friend number 7 if they've
heard anything from her...

End of Message
"If it were destroyed, would you be free, beautiful angel?"
"There is no freedom for a Messenger slain. No heaven. No hell. If it were destroyed, I would cease. No part of me would continue. That would be peace. After everything I've seen here, everything that was done, that would be as close to peace as a Messenger torn from The Message could hope. I was a part of something.. something so.."

The Fantastic Lore: The 'death' of Shoe
"It's genius! Pure genius!" The figure in the shadows
paced around, and around wildly chanting. While
looking on, bewildered yet collectively, roaring
applause (were his 'boys') in support of his ranting.
Shoe, then stopped, and flopped his tongue off to
the side. Then used it to depress his center
inside, allowing an already bloated ego to puff up
with undue pride. " Hey Boss" one of his shameless
lackeys blurted out, " what if the new guy ain't up to
snuff, and your plan... yet again goes awry?" Shoe
turned in...

Hermaphrodite
In the village of Phashasha just outside the Free State province, was a girl by the name of Salome. A drop dead gorgeous ultra violet sun ray absorbing magnificent girl. A face like a movie star. A body like moist clay. A voice like a gentle summer breeze. Of all the sisters in the family, all two of them, she was her mother’s pride and her mother would tell her so.
Salome was from a big family. Her father was married to her mother but he had mistresses all over the village. This meant she not only had her older sister Lerato and younger brother Khazi, but at least 7 half-brothers...

On The Tongue of Midnight
We write to taste life twice, in the moment and in retrospect." Anais Nin
I stand on the tongue of midnight, skyclad. Entertaining a wicked delight to frolic with the Gods of darkness and plight. They wisp amidst this ancient forest. Entering and exiting my exile through a pallid veil, rising quick to scourge their fevers upon the frail.
I face the winds that dare to kiss my skin, when I feel him enter in. A shadow of many charms, expertly flirting with fertile words. He is a stranger in my land with a fervent need...

"To Choose To Dream"
Inspired by actual photograph of woman plunging to her death, from a New York City hotel in 1942. Photo by Russel Sorgi. (Can't post without the photo, or it makes no sense.) *
What an awesome scene it was to look upon. The magnificent New York City Skyline was a monument to opportunity and adventure that reached for the sky. The glorious view before her reminded her of why she had made the journey in the first place. From her thirtieth-floor balcony of the Genesee Hotel, Mary could clearly hear her thoughts for the first time in a long time. The breeze seemed louder...

Between the Lines of Mind
There once was a girl with a forest in her head. When the skies were clear, the world was good. On dewy mornings she would walk through the meadows in that forest, and the way the dew flew off of her black boots and onto her bare legs made her smile. From seeds grew stems and those stems grew flowers and those flowers knew to turn towards the shining sun. All the girl needed was fresh air in her lungs to feel whole, and the kindness of the forest to get by. At night, the does and their fawns would welcome her and she would sleep peacefully knowing that the bucks would keep her safe, and the...
