I used to think I knew
Come walk with me
beyond this place
that takes an onion's cue,
in a laughing sense
with sadness mixed with
a galaxy's point of view,
I used to think I knew when
the poet came to life, perhaps
back in the days of enlightenment
where Humphry Davy dropped
his basket at the penny university,
or where the last great alchemist
was never revered as a scientist, ...

FINISHED
She was gone. That's it.
The only part of me that I could call life had shriveled
away to reveal an illusion that was never anything I had
dreamt it to be.
It was finished and I was finished.
I held the shot glass up to my lips. The bourbon sparkled
in the dim bar lights like sweet diamonds of forget.
The pleasant burning flow of peace tickled my throat as
my departed angel drifted further from my mind.
I'll think about her later, I thought, when all of this
is over with.
Later, always later.
I'm busy now trying to block out the pain. I'll get...

Teddy Bears - Chapter One
Chapter One
It was a Thursday; I woke up at ten. I didn't have a reason to get myself up earlier on account I had nothing to wake up for, I didn't work and wasn't supposed to see anybody until later on. In the entirety of us living in that apartment I hardly ever tried finding work because I didn't drive and I thought that dad had to use the car more (when he could) for his little jobs (when he could). I wanted to work, I wanted to do something, have my own money and being able to support myself if I ever needed to; it wasn't like I enjoyed not having major...

From Where Came the Night
Tell me what you know of the night,
of the moons and stars and magnetic rain,
of the ambient explosion of a carbon 12 atom,
and from where and which direction it came;
tell me what you know of the night.
Tell me what you know of the rain,
anthropic discord in abundant atmosphere,
percipient molecules of a troposphere phase,
hydrotherapy in essence of earth’s lovely grain;
tell me what you know of the rain. ...

Aother Lost Soul Chapter 2
I got up and peeked out into the hall to see if my mom was around. The sound of a pan falling on the floor proved that she was nowhere around. I ran into the bathroom and started to clean the cut then stepped into the shower to wash off the evidence of what happened today. When I got out, I looked in the mirror and froze. The person standing back at me looked different. My shoulders were shaking. My eyes were a little red from crying but they also looked a little darker than normal. The knock on the door pulled me back to life.
"Amaris, supper is ready." My mom said on the other...

Teddy Bears "Prologue"
In Redford, Massachusetts I lived with my dad in an apartment, the second floor apartment of a two-story building that was just a few streets away from the beach, or “the fort” which is what it's been called as long as I've been alive. (It's a popular beach)
We moved there a few months after I turned twenty, after dad ended up selling our nice red little house in the center of town, a beautiful original, a spacious home with two floors and everything else a family would need if a family ever lived there besides a backyard; that place only had a cement square and a rectangular patch...

Another Lost Soul Chapter 1
Sorry it took me a while to share it with y'all. I've been so busy with band camp and other stuff but here it is.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I remember the day that I first picked up a knife. It was my first day at a new school. I was wearing my Guns and Roses t-shirt, skinny jeans and my black converse. I didn't that it would change my life. When I got to the front office to get my schedule, the secretary nearly choked on her morning coffee then quickly recovered.
"Can I help you?"
"Umm... Yes, I'm Amaris...
MY FIRST NATIONAL NUDE DAY
I’ll never forget my first National Nude Day.
I decided to spend it on it by the Mediterranean Sea, on France’s Cap d'Agde beach. Though I didn’t come ogle, I couldn’t help but watch the variations of humanity walk by. Old and young, short and tall, fit and not so fit, it was joy to watch the naked human parade walk by.
One person caught my interest, was this very small frail old gentleman. Wearing a large straw hat, his skin was well tanned and wrinkled. He walked so slow, each step seemed as if it may be his last. Every now and then he’d pause, take a rest, and look...
From deep within hung-over stubble
Early one icy morning, so cold you could see breath. Unshaven, hung over, I crossed the tracks and made my way to the platform. I was tired and thinking of sleep. Wind ripped through, and a few early workers hurried for the warmth of carriages. I took my usual seat, front left but not in the corner. As I reached for the book in my bag, I noticed a pair of stilettos and an attractive young lady. She sat directly opposite, and I opened my book. I thought she looked familiar.
She smiled demurely and proceeded to slowly open her legs. Beneath her short office skirt, a pouty pristine...
