I am a poet and misanthrope.
I have been writing poetry for a very long time...influences include...David Lerner, Yi Sha, Jack Micheline, Bob Kaufman, Leonard Cohen, Li Po, Matsuo Basho, Issa, Charles Bukowski, Diane diPrima, Michael Madsen, Baudelaire, Ginsberg, Anne Waldman, Gregory Corso, Yevtushenko, Lorca, Rimbaud etc. My favorite poem is 'Mein Kampf', by David Lerner.
I have been studying philosophy for more than 30 years...western and eastern. I have been influenced by Existenialism, Sartre, Buddhism, Epicurus, Seneca, Lao Tzi, Chuang Tzi but it is the philosophy of Friedrich Nietzsche that has had the profoundest impact on the way I live my life.
