"Poetic Cruelty, the man behind the words started writing at age 16. Poetic originally found his passion for writing through Grime music however that slowly developed into writing Ballads, general word play and now Spoken Word. He's the 'new kid on the block', but has lately started to get recognition for his distinct writing style and for the force he appears to transform into when he finally stands behind the dreaded microphone.
Writing from what he knows, his inspirations and his experiences, Poetic has just finished recorded pieces about his Late Father, a dear friend who passed away in 2011 and about realness of addiction. The writing style and writing subjects of Poetic's pieces strongly focus on slightly depressing subjects as does most poetry, however the difference is that Poetic speaks from his soul, he becomes the pain that haunted him for so many years, the pain that in reality has cost him friendships, relationships and hurt. - You'll have to experience him to completely understand and feel the performance.
Poetic is quite confident of releasing material before April 2013 and hopefully a debut album before the end of 2013. all of which will be completely self produced, well with the help of his ever talented, ever supportive and ever present girlfriend.
So, who is Poetic Cruelty? well that remains the mystery. What can be said however is about his life, From Spanish family routes to being born and raised in SE England, spending the majority of his young life on the Isle of Sheppey, he now resides in the SW of England, more specifically Bath where he studies Business & Management at BSU - Bath Spa University.
All that can be said to end on is that Poetic will be making progress over the next few months and he will become a household name on the Spoken Word scene. so you know the name, you know the style, all that's left is for you to know the work. "
