Daddies little girl
My past is done it's dead and gone. But why do I keep replaying it like its a song.
The lyrics are deep you'd never understand . You might
think you know but no one can , unless you were there to have seen what I seen. if you did you'd sing beside me feeling sad you'd want to brake the cd or throw it at my dad.
fuck it it's done, "don't pity me" you'll piss me off you'll
make me scream. I have to move on, if only I just stop replaying that fucking song.
one day I will I know I can I'm a strong ass women for that I thank you dad,...

the tao of silence & white
as if there was a part of me his love had not yet violated
I can still see my reflection in the dark sarcasm of his fading memory
helps me to forget the image of his fingertips touching my lips..

if you buy the drinks, this can be about you too!
i remember those drunken nights,
when we thought we could solve everything,
with every shot of tough liquor.
with our iron unbreakable livers,
we'd all agree on Joyces' pointlessness,
Bukowskis' timid sternness.
and dispute over Eliot and Hemingway.
we all could have sworn,
that we all had the better music taste.
and then compete for superiority to impress,
those dark haired gals first,
than the blonds second.
hoping these nights with them of regrets,
would make us better writers,
better musicians.
but even through all...

Red Satin Blues
You lost your soul
writhing in my bed,
we were seventeen
in a sex-scented heaven
between my sheets.
The only heaven
you’ll ever know.
I’m pre-marital sex,
birth control pills,
a third sin,
I forget what.
Every Sunday you went
to hear a priest rant,
I stayed home
thinking about
you beneath me.
At least I’m honest,
the avowed atheist,
I never hid my rebellion
beneath red satin panties
and rosary beads.
writhing in my bed,
we were seventeen
in a sex-scented heaven
between my sheets.
The only heaven
you’ll ever know.
I’m pre-marital sex,
birth control pills,
a third sin,
I forget what.
Every Sunday you went

I stayed home
thinking about

At least I’m honest,

I never hid my rebellion
beneath red satin panties
