Another Chance
A wounded soul stumbles through life
Spurned by the world he screams in anger
Engulfed in darkness he suffers in silence
Battling with his demons he is losing but doen't care
At the bottom of a bottle he tries to end his misery
But even fails that
His suffering doesn't go unnoticed
His destiny is crossed with another and
Is given a second chance
Spirits high he changes his ways
Pleased with his change
He is given two angels to his care
On top of the world
There is an air of invincibility about him
Blinded by pride he abandons his faith...
Spurned by the world he screams in anger
Engulfed in darkness he suffers in silence
Battling with his demons he is losing but doen't care
At the bottom of a bottle he tries to end his misery
But even fails that
His suffering doesn't go unnoticed
His destiny is crossed with another and
Is given a second chance
Spirits high he changes his ways
Pleased with his change
He is given two angels to his care
On top of the world
There is an air of invincibility about him
Blinded by pride he abandons his faith...

Motivational Musings in an Undead World
I've been wonderin'
if I can
pick it all up -
lift the solemn sentience
of yesterday's happenings
to the application
of each today.
I've forgotten
what's worth the insatiable
yearning
rushing in
with every rise of my eyelids.
I don't know
what to do with
all the time
that demands its own wasting.
Is it healthy
to simply adjust
to the manufactured rhythms
of our taxidermied days?
Is it a fool's game
to follow the paths available - ...
if I can

to the application
of each today.

From the Diary
for Neill
April, 2006
My body is at it again,
ever-demanding like a man,
yet I’ve never felt more like a moon -
the way it folds into the sky,
examining itself before refleshing.
I am so greedy with my body,
too greedy with my light.
I went to the beach at night,
unfurled the sand, the wet grey
unveiling a whiter, dryer earth.
A bony finger wrote: yes, this is me.
My cells, my sickness, semiotic things
telling me what to want.
What coral. What misnomer.
What jellyfish bubbling up
its medusa – a gelatinous bell...

Run on Sentences
The drugs drain away reality replacing rational reasoning with a never ending need for more.
They don't deny me their usual pleasure
as THC laces through my morning air.
A bitter battle of morals blazes through my brain until I resort to simply being happy to be high.
Unless I am mistaken my mother would not approve of my hidden tattoos and addictions and habits and quirks.
But in the end with the question of my sanity aside I am happy and content to live the life of an experimentalist.

Paralyzed
No one can feel what I am
inside of my paralyzed smile.
Call me a name I smile
Tell me you love me I smile
Tell me you hate me yes I smile
Bring me to the finest Restuarnt
Wine and dine me like the princess that I am
I'll smile for you
Bring me to my grandmothers grave
I will smile
I'm stuck with this smile
This paralyzed emotion stuck on my face
Just so no one can see into the
Paralyzed state my heart is in
It works, but fixes nothing
Erases nothing
Makes nothing better
But you really wouldn't...

Mirrors
I can't walk into a room with mirrors. I stare at myself and wonder who am I looking at a vision of a girl who once knew that freckles and ears that point to the sky were obsolete. that a nose pudgy n round was just a nose not of a clown, lips full like fresh raspberries growing in a field, not two red plumply annoying things, that call to men like a moth to a flame. I could walk in a room and look at a mirror n state " I am what I am I except my fate"! Those days are gone I now look In the mirror only to see an ugly girl staring back at me. Me this ugly girl had dreams of walking on...

burnt
Burning all over, walking in circles. My mind is racing, my bodies pacing. Killing me softly is in my way. Wanting to scream can't make the pain fade away.Running away "immovable'' stuck in this faze. Young forever, not in my stage. You feel me, I didn't think so.I feel you, moving and doing what n one should do.i'm blind to it all, but that's what you want from me, you want my senses lost to you where no one can see. It's happening to me "uhuh" no way.I rather die in this haze, without even a phaze. You laugh and watch me cringe. But the burning will stop and I'll get my sin.

Just me
When it's dark and cold and no ones around, I feel myself smiling instead of a frown. I don't know why but I like the feeling it's new it's scary it's so indearing , if everyone new would they judge me, put a label on something they don't understand, something they don't see. "of course they would" they just see what they want, there blinded by society.. aye it's just what they where taught. oh well let them "fuck it" it's me that deals with me. not you not him not she. I like this place it's cold and no one can see what's really hiding in here no one but me. it's a high...

luminous
My lips have held a million unspoken words
and a taste of pain
slithering through my throat
teaching me how to control my breathing.
I have suffered a sunrise that burnt through my eyelids
and surged to my heart like
arunaway train with nowhere to crash,
a gaping hole
.nicotine
i denied the way my hands felt like
dry leaves
how the veins on my neck ached from screaming
and attempting to swallow light
to make myself believe i can be
fluorescent like swimming
pools and happiness
when all this while
i was nothing but...
and a taste of pain
slithering through my throat
teaching me how to control my breathing.
