THE SHAPE OF MY HEART

 I have met people
   All kinds of people
     I meet people of all kinds
        The soft ones, the hard ones
             The kind ones, the cruel ones
                The fair ones, the dark ones
                    The good ones, the rude ones
                        The ill – mannered ones
                                To mention but a few
  I have  met people
      The ones I really came to love
        The ones I could really love
 I have been in their gladness and sadness;
   Gaining and failing, living as well as dying

 I have met people
    I have done so much with many of them
       That I am beginning to feel I have met
          The one who made them all.
