Paths Widen
Eastern horizon’s golden, my eye lids are swollen
Valleys darken, shadows of the hills that risen
Birds start singing, we raise to reach for our burden
Soon flares are shining, paths are visible to embolden,
generations start moving, even though paths just harden
the sun is still rising, paths will widen
Paths get wide, arrogance turn on your side
Vision fills with pride, caution jumps aside
Carelessness on your ride, nothing to call a guide
Dreams now collide, trouble becomes your bride
In pain you must bide, with failure you coincide
Now nothing’s on your mind, does your paths really widen
