Believe me this is an entirely different life,

Living much of your second skin,

Kissing and being kissed publicly before your wife.


Lights, camera, and action!

The act of the heart and brains,

Living myself away from my own way and sense.


"How can I forget that day?

When I ate ice-cream with you,

Your parents allowed us to stay,

I borrowed the cricket bat from you."


These are not just enough I want to say,

I wish I could meet you out of my way,

"Indeed, I am looking forward to that!"


"I will let you know my future project,

In which I will play with all my near and dear ones",

I will not say like that to be picture perfect-

"I want to meet all of you, when my work abandons."


"In-fact I enjoy dancing along the band of fife!"

"My Dear Friends...", is a light hearted comedy. One popular film actor has been observed replying the press and some of his old friends sorrounded by him, and he is answering and speaking to all of them at a time. So try to make sense of the hotch-potch from the excerpt of this interview. I have really enjoyed this and hope you too:)

Now carefully read this whole interview:

Actor: (Addressing his friends about his life) My Dear Friends, Believe me this is an entirely different life.

Reporter: Sir, how different is this life of yours from your personal life?

Actor: Living much of your second skin, kissing and being publicly kissed before your wife. Ha, ha!!!

One friend: How will you define your profession in one sentence dear?

Actor: Lights, camera, and action!

Repoeter: How much your profession demands from you?

Actor: Well, the act of the heart and brains. It is almost captivating me all the times. It is like living myself away from my own way and sense:)

One beautiful girl fan asks our actor: Hi sir, do you remember me?

Actor: Of course, how can I forget that da?...When I ate ice-cream with you (our very actor is flattered by the girl fan and trying to flirt her with his pun, as if mistaken as his childhood friend).

Two of his true old pals waved their hands among the crowd to greet their star friend: Hi pal!!! This is us. Me...and this is me...

Actor: (He recognises both of his friends) Yep guys...I think I stayed in your house before the pre-boards, and your parents allowed us to stay. Hey, I remember you too...I think I borrowed the cricket bat from yoy during my first zonal match:)

One of the friends: Hey, you remember us!!!

Actor: (Emotionally)...I am still that me, miss you, & love you all...

Reporter: How do you feel after the super success of your consecutive films?

Actor: Well, it feels good, but then being an actor, these are not just enough I want to say...each and every time, the profession demands from you more.

(Photoflashes & shorthand...)

Reporter: Audiences have always liked you in different get-ups, what next?

Actor: (Looking at the camera) I wish I could meet you. But then I am just an actor, and then it's upon my direcor dictating me out of my ways and I am not sure how long he will continue that in future. After all people love my get-ups because they have been different so far and not monotonous (Laughs).

One of the fans: Sir, will you act in art films?

Actor: "Indeed, I am looking forward to that!"...That version of cinema is amazing.

Reporter: Will you repeat your co-stars in your coming films?

Actor: Why not?...Right now I am concentrating on my future project and that I will let you know, it will be a big multi-starrer, with all my near and dear ones I have loved working with.

Reporter: Any plans to join politics?

Actor: (Diplomatically)...'Yes' or 'No'?...Well it's not my moment to reply such a thing. I will not say like that to be picture perfect-

The crowd becomes uncontrollable and our actor moves towards his car amidst security. One old lady requests for a photo-shoot and our star refuses her by saying-

Actor: Not today please...(kissing the crowd)

"I want to meet all of you again when my work abandons."

(Closing interview) I like crowds..."In-fact I enjoy dancing along the band of fife". But then I cannot do so (smiling). "My dear friends, believe me this is an entirely different life".
