Random Words Poem
Funny how living sucks the life out
Like a mosquito frenetic in the night
Attacking unexpectedly, just when everything is right
Leaving you with not just a bump on the side
More like a buffet to the mind
Wishing you were a robot
So it wouldn't hurt so much inside
No dreams just nightmares
Faces the size of a hippopotamus
Chuckling at you with crooked teeth
As you run the maze to escape the sleep
And just as your internal thermometer peaks
You wake in a scream
Sweating unable to breathe
Tears start to fall, feeling emotionally dilapidated
Shaking, unable to take it
Stomach choosing to misbehave
You projectile last nights grapes and sandwich you ate
Mind spinning like a circus
Letters of the alphabet floating and cursing
You light a joint to cure it
Light some liquid spice so noone knows your smoking
Turning your eyes to the orange tinting sky
Leaves that parachute from up high
Phone vibrates at your side
Daily horoscope displayed in bold write
"Tread softly along the vine of life so it does not snap,
because no man can fly"

What a wonderful random worded poem
you've got there, the ending did it
for me, very strong.
But I also liked:

Thankyou glad you enjoyed, I thought long and hard to make this one. I can't take credit for the random words though, since they were given out for the competition I entered it in. You should give it a shot, I can only imagine what a poet such as yourself could conjure up.
