To be a robot

I wish to be a robot
To have my feelings taken from me
They cause me nothing but anguish
Forever tormented by heart
Forever in love it seems
But no way to give in to them
Too proud?
Too paranoid
Always thinking of you is killing me inside
They say if you miss someone then see them
They never told me about those grey areas
The eternal struggle between my heart and my brain
The war will rage on for many years I fear
