Forevermore and Always

He greets me with black eyes gazing from his skull,
A black cloak draped over his skeletal figure.
Into silence there is a lull,
As he outstretches his hand.

Death, my friend, waiting as my world goes dark,
With a loving, cold embrace.
They see me with my wrists by a blade marked,
Smiling as from hate I run.

He is the one who holds me tight,
Always smiling.
He is the one who helps me at night,
When the terrors come.

Now forever I shall be with him,
In his hell.
We canter around, killing at whim,
Forevermore and always.
