Inevitable Destruction

Harness the rainbow
shelter from the sun
bind all the moonbeams
teach the rain to run.

Stop the wind from blowing
mend the broken earth
melt all the snow that falls
inspire this rebirth

Challenge mother nature
destroy father time
shoot the birds in the sky
make all the tree leaves chime.

Dare the day to hold its wake
kill the night’s intent
murder heaven because you can
teach your soul to vent.

These are things we dare not try
they make no sense to man
but yet destruction we allow
it's time to change that plan.


Give thanks because the sun does shine,
the seasons change each year,
lets savor all of nature’s trends
if not we're gone from here.

This planet earth was made for us
it's where we now call home
stop ruining our place of life
there's nowhere else to roam.
