Beat Of My Heart

No matter what I say,
I can never just pretend,
I can survive one day,
Without you on my mind.
The fogged moonlight,
Kisses the horizon of our love.
And the mist of sadness,
Sits close above.
I count the moments away from you.
The stars are suffocating…
And I blindly fall,
Into dreams.
Caressed in rivers,
Winding through purple hills,
With the winds of forever.

The promises we made,
Bond me to this bed,
As the constant squeal,
Of your heart pounds in my head.
The white of the sheets,
The flowers a false sweets,
And a last goodbye…

Why do your mist swirls,
Of gray oceans,
Deep in your eyes,
Still engulf me in total,
Harmony,
While it drowns me,
Into total,
Suffering?

Though I,
Learned how to move on,
Your love,
Still and always,
Will have,
The beat of my heart.

While I live off the lie,
That you’re long forgotten,
I’ll always strain my eyes,
To see you dancing,
Through the skies.
As I sit,
Pressed against the gray mist,
Of the rock where we used to kiss.

The hushed whispers of the river,
Mumbles thoughtfully in my ear,
About the hazy love,
We once shared.
And…

The promises we made,
Bond me to this bed,
As the constant squeal,
Of your heart pounds in my head.
The white of the sheets,
The flowers a false sweets,
And a last goodbye…

Why do your mist swirls,
Of gray oceans,
Deep in your eyes,
Still engulf me in total,
Harmony,
While it drowns me,
Into total,
Suffering?

Though I,
Learned how to move on,
Your love,
Still and always,
Will have,
The beat of my heart.

Your pale skin of milk,
Blends perfectly with the bed,
With the only flaw,
Being your topaz blue eyes,
Proving that there lies,
A boy caught,
In the silver platinum spider webs,
Of a dreadful cancer.

Your shaky hand reaches for your head,
As you try and hide,
The hair,
That truly isn’t there.
And your pale cheeks,
Get a hue of pink,
As your mist eyes,
Rest lightly on me.
And for the last time…

I’m back,
Where we used to hold each other.
Pressed on the ground,
With blurred green’s and browns,
Of the forest dedicated to us tonight.
The river reflects the color of blood,
With purple iris petals,
Dancing between the gray clouds above,
And the orange fire,
Of the love we both felt,
Strokes among the diamonds,
Of the stars that will forever hold the memories,
Keeping them written,
Into the moonlit diaries,
That will forever be re-read,
By my lonesome and tired eyes.

And the promises we made,
Bond me to this bed,
As the constant squeal,
Of your heart pounds in my head.
The white of the sheets,
The flowers a false sweets,
And a final and last goodbye…

Why do your mist swirls,
Of gray oceans,
Deep in your eyes,
Still engulf me in total,
Harmony,
While it drowns me,
Into total,
Suffering?

Though I,
Learned how to move on,
Your love,
Still and always,
Will have,
The beat of my heart.
