Glacialis Incendia, Moenia Memoria

A single petal floats to the ground, falling, falling, it flutters around,
Twisting and turning and swinging and swaying, in the air it keeps playing,
The breeze catching it, pushing and blowing it, mother nature controlling it,
Crossing the fading sky, traveling awry, in my hand it lands, I know not why,
A single petal, a rose petal, it's vibrant blue making my heart unsettle,
A pulse and a bump, a beat and a thump, I feel my heart begin to jump,
This feeling of frozen, racing and scattering, my mind starts shattering,
Burning, scorching, fire tearing at my soul, this feeling I can't control,
Find it I must, see it I will, this rose that brings my thoughts to a chill,
Touch it, feel it, smell it, this rose that burns my soul, ignites it.

Setting off into the setting sun, I go against the mothers breeze,
Hoping to find the blue rose that brings a mans mind to a freeze,
I know not from where it came, nor how it came to be,
All that matters to me,  is this rose I must see,
Traveling through the forest, the rivers and the plains,
I follow the trail of rose petals as if led by chains,
Caught in it's spell, trapped in it's magical trance,
I watch the petals float on the breeze, doing their dance,
Miles and miles I will go, this magical rose I must unravel,
The breeze settles as the petals can no longer travel,
Unfrozen, my mind awakening, in the darkness of night I stand,
Where I am, what I'm doing, this petal in my hand, I don't understand,

Gazing and staring, squinting and glaring, I have lost my bearing,
A night so dark, forest so thick, my mind racing, heart beating quick,
Lost in the unknown, forsaken by the spell, my soul, nature has taken,
The petal that consumed, burned and froze, it's path no longer flows,
flicker of light, a color of blue, through the trees it flew,
Dancing, twirling, glowing, I gaze upon it not knowing,
Eyes focus, sight becomes clear, as a glowing blue petal floats near,
This feeling of frozen, broken and scattering, my mind begins shattering,
Burning, scorching, fire eating at my soul, this feeling I can't control,
Have it I must, own it I will, this rose that brings my thoughts to a chill,

Without a worry I take off into the forest running, chasing,
Following the blue glowing petals, their light embracing,
A flicker here, a glint there as they trace a path through the night,
My heart beating, thumping and pacing, this feels so right,
Over rocks, under branches, through bushes and grass,
I can feel I draw near, finally my destination at last,
My hair stands on end, a mystic electricity in the air,
Up ahead an opening in the trees, the rose must be there,
My heart begins to burn as my mind is frozen,
This petal, this blue petal, me it has chosen,
sliding to a halt, stopping at the tree line,
I stand where light and darkness intertwine,

Twirling and spinning, moving and swaying, I see my beautiful rose playing,
Field of blue, where sea of roses grow, she's middle of the flowers aglow,
Dancing through the field, hair flowing, this fire in me growing,
Mind unfrozen, her body taunts me, her beauty haunts me,
She smiles, her eyes catching mine, her look so divine,
One step, two step, three, my body moves forward breaking free,
As I move to her, she moves to me and I see how this was destiny,
In the field we embrace, face to face, our hearts race,
Lips press lips, hands explore, time frozen, moving to the floor,
Infatuation to love, passion to ecstasy, this is my dwelling memory.
