Pour Away The Ocean

You come in waves
but its okay
I need the break

swimmingly beautiful
until,
high water hit

driftwood dreams
washed ashore
bound and tied

an ocean of secrets,
now sea glass sparkles
in someone else's bay

the wreckage of shallow hearts
sink slowly,
to the bottom

the stars of truth, begin to shine
on this darkened heart of mine,
as I slip calmly into the drink.......
