That little story

I heard a little story,
a whisper on the wind,
a tale of total turbelence,
but where do I begin?

They said his name was lost in time,
his eyes as old as stone,
and his love for her was immortal,
and still he died alone.

His story was so touching,
his life blending in to mine,
his spirit became a part of me,
that soul as old as time.

He loved her more than living,
and needed her so well,
that when she left him finally,
he followed her to Hell.

The secrets that he told her,
of all the wrong he'd done,
they could not cast a shadow
on that face lit by the sun.

And as he lay himself to rest,
upon his final day,
he's said to have spoken but five words,
He spoke "Today I find my way".
