Your Sisters First Love
For my dear sister!
It’s weird when you see your sister falling in love with someone. She used to be quiets and said hateful words to me. But since he came along, there is a big difference in the way she walks. She no longer frowns but now shines with smiles. No more hateful words at me but instead, she tries to do stuff with me. It was strange after seeing her when she had her first kiss. Her eyes were brighter than the sun. Until the day that dumb girl ruined everything. She sent me a text thinking I was you, and she told me “I never meant it that way. I never said he cheated on you. I’m sorry.” I about beat her. That’s why you were crying on the bus that one day. He was trying to calm you down. My friends bugging me to know what’s wrong. You didn’t speak for the next 3 days. You were gone. I didn’t think I see you happy again, but he pulled through. He invited you over, for he lived next door. What you told me he made you a dinner and pulled out a rose. Soon all was forgiven. But that didn’t change the way I felt. I felt like I had to protect you. Yes, a 13 year old protecting her 16 year old sister. Keep you from harm, help you up when you fell. Give you that protecting you never gave me.
