THE GIRL WHO STEALS THE LIGHT...

A diamond in the miles of ice.

Turned the sun off for today.

If I could find the sky,

in direction of my gaze.

A little game she likes to play,

to run off with the light.

The lack of guilt, for what she does,

makes her difficult to find.

I woke up facing silhouettes,

created in her sleep.

I spoke to entities not there,

and bathed in her deceit.

Riding dark reflections,

to dimensions where she hides.

I found the diamond once before,

so again,I now will try.

Behind me,breaths the serpent.

Unhinging its jaw.

This baron land with cautious step,

I search without a pause.

The second you should hesitate,

the snake shall have it's feast.

Not on your flesh,blood,and bone,

but all emotion that you bring.

I find her where she's always been,

beyond vortex of time.

Grab her hand, and drag her through,

slay the beast in mind.

Bring her to our present space,

and piece her back as one.

Distill the lies,and boldly demand,

She turn back on the sun.
