Dear Diary

I thought
that I
would write a note
that lets my feelings out
that tells the story
of my mind
and lets my feelings shout.

But all I want
to do is whisper
when I'm here with you
and get so close
so very close
the feelings seem
quite new.

This distance
that I want to be
is negative you see
and from the inside
of your inner self
I find a better me.

So, let me
occupy that space
that hydrates
with the sun
and let me be
much closer then,
and feel that
we are one.
