Never Residing Guardian

My Guardian
She hears my cries and comes running to my defense
with her the future is better
her wings shine bright in my state of misery
guiding me into the light

she sees the truth when everyone is oblivious to my pain
with her I can only gain
she understands my past
believes in my future
and loves me for who I am now

impossible to forget
she heals the holes in my soul
she’s the better to my worse

 I don’t need to explain my pain
she already knows how the story goes
when I’m in agonizing pain
she’s my morphine

I'm blessed
she’s the best
thieves may try and steal her
but our souls are inseparable
were always together
even miles away
were never apart .

Never leaving my side
my guardian never resides .
She’s like the stars in the sky
some come and go
but she’s the one that stayed
and the one that glows the brightest
