A moment that didn’t exist
An illusion isn’t a symptom of insanity
But a new titled soon to be casualty
When you open you eyes, only to find
A dark gory night
And you can’t rid your head of your dream
Cos when it’s happening, it seems just so real
A nightmare divides you and your unruly mind
Leaving you to toss and turn as you try
Desperately to get back to sleep
But like a wound that won’t heal
First it must bleed
And when it persists
Its agony
Although it’s a moment that didn’t exist
At the time seemed ever so frightening
Like a vampires kiss
It leaves you trembling
Like a fear you can’t kick
It’s an arm severed feeling
But once hours have gone by,
You’re bound to forget it
Unless you wake up to your greatest fears…
