Faded Dreams
[center]shadows flow like water
over the valleys of my mind.
once burning bright
the stars of my dreams.
the light has faded
as i have turned with the seasons.
this early morning snowfall
resounds the idea of spring.
i sit and reminisce, thoughts wandering
has it all been in vain?
false intentions
the story of my life.
these faded dreams
are driving me insane.

finding myself within the mess
only to be lost once again.
a journey inside my head
to find the answers wondering why.
a time known for years
now so strange to my eyes.
a winding path spiraling
going on and on.

these dreams still whisper
even though faded and broken.
a little voice within
speaks through the thundering roar.
once filled with ambition
remember your passion for life.

the passage of time
has turned gray and deserted.
the tree of life has died
the last leaf has fallen.
i awaken from the dream
for my final redemption.

now i find myself
left here all alone.
can you tell me why
everything seems so strange.
as time never stops
it marches on and on.

i watch the fragments
of my past float away.
words of time left
carved in immortal stone.
weathered by the sands of time
they crack and turn to dust.
like a black and white photo
torn and ragged with time.
it brings me here to this spot
the place i had forgotten that exists at all.[/center]

when you submit your poem on the next screen it asks if you would like to add multimedia or spoken word from youtube. Click on multimedia and it brings you to a window to upload a pic ;)
