Melt down

I'm upset
raising my voice
perking up in my seat
arguing that you dont listen
you dont see my view
you're stubbon and close minded
I can't help but leap towards you in passion and frustration
you hear me but you dont see me
your words do nothing but point blame
no responsibility taken on any account
I feel as if I am conversing with a child
the tears come to fill my eyes
I loose everything I have worked for
I lost my edge of authority and seriousness
you view me as soft and dismiss the issue
I am determined to continue with my point in case
fight against my urges to cry and run away
my voice not following my brains directions
I wobble in and out of pitches while whipping my eyes to clear my view
the look in your eyes, a mothers compassion
but mine harsh black
fighting for control
my breath is in huffs and puffs
the combination of deep sighs to calm down
and I gasp for more oxygen
your focus is gone and my argument is quickly diminishing
I am left exhausted and sad
I take deep breaths
quietly crying
trying to stop
but what is there left to do
for you to see me
