We’re sitting close, I notice
She smells just as I remember
She smells like high school, like algebra
Reminding me of our senior year.
I never knew,
It would be so comforting
Laughing like we're seventeen;
Again.
Like the last four years, have yet to happen.
Some things should remain in the past,
I should have left her buried
But now I'm too caught up,
To put her back.
She smells just as I remember
She smells like high school, like algebra
Reminding me of our senior year.
I never knew,
It would be so comforting
Laughing like we're seventeen;
Again.
Like the last four years, have yet to happen.
Some things should remain in the past,
I should have left her buried
But now I'm too caught up,
To put her back.
