[center]it is a dependable measurement of time on a long voyage at sea
precisely used by many seafarers in the twilight years of yore
its metaphorical wings have been a fleeting symbol
for human existence in the golden days of old
as the sands of time will slowly run out
for every passing day of our lives
so are the days I remember
building sand castles
just you and me
on the beach
sharing
