So Forsaken

How am I supposed to breathe,
How can I keep fighting,
How can I find purpose,
When I feel so forsaken.

I wake every morning wishing I hadn't,
I go to work hoping for an accident,
I get home and sleep life away,
Should I do any different,
While knowing I'm so forsaken.

Tears always falling,
Heart always broken,
Soul always crushed,
Why am I so forsaken?

Love is a lie,
Passion is an outcry,
Marriage is a fallacy,
I'm dead inside and so forsaken.

Will I ever be vindicated,
Will I ever know happiness,
Will I ever have a true life,
I doubt it, remembering I'm so forsaken.

There is so little peace,
There is so little joy,
There is so little meaning,
When you feel so forsaken.

I want it to end,
Crying for no more,
Begging for freedom from the pain,
Please release me,
From being so forsaken!!
