The Climb

My thoughts spin me around,

Letting me down.

Time after time.

I am a expert at the fall.

Regardless of my fight,

I don't move forward.

I am going up a hill,

Only to find it just gets steeper.

Digging my fingers in the ground,

Just trying not to fall.

I lose grip to violently tumble down.

Scraped, bruised and bloody,

I keep trying.

This is for the ones who think they can't,

The ones who lost all faith.

This is for the ones who need a end,

Who think they can't.

Come on friends, get up now,

Your not alone at all.

Try again,

Climbing the hill of depression and let down.

When I get to the top,

I will be the hand reaching down to pull you up.
