Never Look Back
I will always look ahead and into the future
A place that does not concern you
You and your lying smile
You and your deceiving eyes
My soul is stronger than your spirit
I am not as weak as you hoped I would be
When you lied to my heart
I looked away
Never will I look back
To see if you are there
Your eyes are solid stone
Crushing what could have been
When you see the rain, never think of me
I am taking it back
It was never yours, always mine
Letting it go, Like I have done with you
