If I could talk to that Little Sista, the one of my youth
I'd share some things foremost the truth
That life will pass her in the blink of an eye
So, be wise in your choices especially with guys.

Be thoughtful to those who are considerate of you
Put behind you those friends who seek to misuse
Educate yourself, this task will never cease
Take pride in your knowledge and own beliefs.

No one except God will love you complete
Until that is understood your heart will bleed
A painful lesson you'll have to learn
Love is still fickle even now at my turn.

But here I am the product of you
Although years later still struggling with truth
Had I been there, to talk to you Little Sista
Life could be different and my heart much richer.

So, I say to myself, the woman I am now
Hold on to faith for God is unbound
Look to the hills whence cometh your help
And love yourself beyond the earthy realm.

You're wise enough to know life's repercussion’s
Without having any deep thought out discussions
You know better now, you'll do better when
Listen to God he's your one true friend.

Stay focused on the task that He set before you
You need none other, to cherish and adore you
So tell all Little Sista's who are in your presence
To learn from you and avoid life's hard lessons.
