Life Lessons

     These life lessons are why I'm stressing.Tryin' to block out the curses and keep an eye out for my blessings.

 I just thank God, that he bathes me in his essence, and keeps me enrolled as a student to his lessons.

I just have to learn to stop being so keen on asking questions, keep an eye out and hopefully accept his message,

and one day be blessed with his prescence as I take my place next to him in the heavens.

If you want a confession, I've known God since the ages of adolescence, but it was long before I felt his

impression, until I reached the point of depression.

 I felt him in my chest like bad congestion, but when i accepted him into my life, he went straight to my head like a cocaine ingestion.
I fiend for him and I'm addicted now.

I'm not a perfect Christian but I listen now.

NOTE: I tried writing a rhyme and this came out instead!
