Those Three Words

Those three simple words you said,
as they slipped and collided past your lips,
I believed you.
I believed those simple words,
" I love you...".
You left me numb and bewildered,
yet ecstatic all the same.
Now you gone away,
i wish your afterimage would disappear.
Now I've found someone whose wanting to love me,
someone actually cares, and willing to be there.
Now that i know that is more than holding hands,
i don't want to open up again,
I remember he said me," I don't what I want,
but what i want is right here with you..."
I said," Alright, but you're not my type..."
He looked at me, surprised,
"But that's okay, the usual type breaks my heart.."
But when i am hand and hand with him i can't help,
but think of those three words...
