A Coffin For Sins

pick up a shovel
choose a part of the earth
that is flat and level
put the metal
to the dirt

dig a little deeper
each time for the hurt
dirty your hands a little
with the soil and grime
and when it's time...
(when it's time)

grab the axe
pick the youngest one
take your anger
to a new max
and when your done
drive the nails home

you've just made a coffin
to bury all your sins

when the sun is setting low
in the horizon
when fate swings another blow
dig a deeper hole
and when he lies to you once more
throw another sin in the coffin

all you gotta do...

grab the axe
pick the youngest one
take your anger
to a new max
and when your done
drive the nails home

let the rain
be your tears
as it smacks against wood
all your fears
gathered from all those years
will be buried
like they should

you've just made a coffin
to bury all your sins
you've just had a taste
of the devil's grin
now turned to displeasure
as you take good measure
and bury deep the sin

your lust for his body
stripped away
finally you know
that all he wanted
was you

his rage as you set him free
another bullet for hypocrisy
to the chest
all that is done
should of been
for the best
but now you know...

how to make a coffin
to bury all your sins

grab the axe
pick the youngest one
take your anger
to a new max
and when your done
drive the nails home

let the rain
be your tears
as it smacks against wood
all your fears
gathered from all those years
will be buried
like they should

now you know
how to make a coffin
to bury all your sins
