YOU LEFT ME BLEEDING (DADDY)…
Dear daddy,
You left me that day, you know that I stood there in the road, and I watched you, I stood there and I was crying out as you drove away. You didn’t one time glimpse in your rearview mirror to see if I still stood there, not one time did you really care.
You didn’t leave me a trace anywhere, you only left me stranded to the point that we both knew I could not follow you, for you had already stirred the dust up so badly in my eyes, you left me so unexpectedly that I didn’t know you were leaving me until you were really gone.
You left me daddy, you left me. You stabbed me that day when you stuck a knife through my beating heart and you twisted the blade, you stood there over me, I remember your eyes pierce mine as you watch me bleed, and I remember you mock me as I suffered, greatly. Never one time did you reach your hand out to me, you never offered me your hand because you already knew that I would take it, but then again I took a lot of things daddy. I tried to overlook a lot of it, but as for the rest of it, I have no other choice but to take it and try to live with it the best that I can, and that I am still trying to figure out here, trying to live with such hurt because I already know I’ll never be able to live beyond it.
I bleed daddy; I leave behind my own trail of blood from the blood that still continues to run out from all of these horrid scars.
These scars that you still give me today daddy, every time you whip me, each time that you strike out at both me and mommy, still to this day I watch you beating her and its killing me a little more every day of my life.
