Stopped pursuing my happiness
So that you could pursue yours
The ultimate sacrifice
My heart will forever by in yours
Leave that floating feeling at the door
Why miss that feeling of bliss
Hide all that aching your body does
Turn off the radio, don't listen to the words
Songs show up anytime like a willing curse
And any happy movie that sparks a thought of us
Even in cartoons it's unavoidable I'd say
That you can avoid the thought of us.
In trying to survive each day
