Questioning Openness
Both caught her eye
Unsure who she liked better
Silent voice…Loud thoughts.

She passed by them
To simply greet them
Oh a plot twist she did not expect.

One of her beloved
Caught her hand and asked her out
As a group for dinner.

Baffled and speechless
Assuming it could be a trick
“You cannot say no…We apologize for this”.

“Why?”
One smiled shyly and looked away
“Why not?” Confidence shined through his smile.

As she paced to her cubicle
Lost in thought and a grin in place
“Interesting”
