Im not the only one
Mama put me in this truck,
Told me not to worry,
It was going to take me to a
Better places she sorry,
I’m so confuse I don’t understand,
Where do I stand?
How many like me, am I the only one?
My life should be better,
Playing, and having fun, toys, and ice cream,
But not body asked me.
I will remember these things for ever,
Now, all I think is about why the shooting,
Why people are fighting, without reasoning,
But you see, where I am, right now,
Is what’s going to define me now?
I saw my mother crying, while she was begging
For life, and even when she said she wanted to live please,
They look a me they stick a knife in her deep, and deep,
And I felt it, like it was in me,
I’m not the only one, I know it for a fact,
There so many like me, that don’t know their Mom, or Dad,
That’s why I’m sad, because these is me in the picture,
And I remember all of that.
