Sunset
The sky is at her golden age;
Her eyes red with anger,
Her heart, grown older with the day.
And as I walk along the stony beach
I am at one with the world.
And I bade thee go, to return in time again.
For there's a thing in me saying I'll see you.
And though I'm an imposter in your eyes,
Tomorrow, and all her hopes, dreams, goals and fears,
They all keep me embracing you.
My faith keeps me moving forward.
I never turn back.
For everything good comes to an end;
Like the glorius day must give way to the night.
And all man shall wait with bated breath for the coming of tomorrow,
No matter what she may bring or hold in her arms,
Knowing that she'll come no matter what.
For everything good comes to an end;
Like the glorius day must give way to the night.
And all man shall wait with bated breath for the coming of tomorrow,
No matter what she may bring or hold in her arms,
Knowing that she'll come no matter what.
