Why I write poetry

I write poetry for my enjoyment
It also can express emotion
Or an idea if I'm in the mood
To kick up all the commotion
Often its for me
Selfish centred me
Full of my desires
and fantasies giddy.

But it is conveyed as a tyrant
A Pharoah, Emperor and Dictator
You do not question its methods
As a pitiful questioning traitor
There in lies madness and pointlessness.

You can ask about it
What it means, What I mean
Comment on it and its effects
Good, Bad and all between.

But really, I mean really at the end of the day
I wrote it, and not even I fully understand it
Just jog on that truth is not for ye
You stupid multi-faceted ambitous little shit.
