now i'm all grown up
and yeah life gets a little tough

watchin our boys under them stadium lights
when we'd try to show off for the girls

like me and her sittin on my tailgate
out by the lake
sometimes i wish i could go again

gain some scars on our hearts
memories fade away

try to fill our parents shoes
