Love  Hate

 
love and hate go hand in hand
like a cocoon embracing somethong extraordinary inside
like the warmth of a fire on the coldest of nights
oppositeses maybe, but fit together so well
but having to choose can tear a soul apart
living with one without the other
is like trying to breath air without lungs
and the direction that you intend it to go
is on aknife edge until choices have to be made
the choice to love or the choice to hate
not a single person can help you choose
its all down to you my son, make sure you choose well
cos youve to live with it the rest of your life
and if youve chose wrong theres no turning back
theres no rewind button, theres no second chance
that bed youve made may be impossible to lay in
because if you know that youve made the wrong choice
then theres only you to blame my son, only you to hold accountable
for the actions that you have chosen
love & hate, hate & love the hardest choice in the world
dont choose in haste, dont rush the decision
as it will haunt you for the rest of your life
but if those simple two words did not exist
what an easier life it would be
but the fact is they do & sometimes we have to choose
but Jesus H Christ why is it so hard, is it god just having a laugh
i know i cannot pick so im stuck in this limbo and here i will remain
until such a day when the choice has to be made
and i pray i make the right one................................
