Here I Lay Me Down To Sleep

Now that all reasons found are gone,
I cant turn back, I cant go on.
I seek a place where all this wrong
Will fade into a place where I belong.
The Time goes by and all I see
Are painted faces smiling.
We’re full of thoughts that we are free
To be, but we are dreaming hopelessly.
So here I lay me down to sleep,
I beg this ink my soul to keep.
I no longer feel the need
To flee, so don’t you waste your tears on me.
There’s so much Pain and Hate today,
I need to find my hideaway.
I’m tired of this fucking place,
Retracing all these tracks to disarray.
Cant be clean and I cant stay numb,
Afraid to see what I’ll become.
I hope you see where I’m coming from,
My Friends, I’m sorry for the damage done.
Now here I lay me down to sleep,
I beg your Hearts my soul to keep.
Maybe there I’ll find my peace,
So please, don’t you go wasting tears on me.
If I should leave a void behind,
Fill it with Happiness and Time.
Let all the Love we came to find
Unwind, and provide comfort to your mind.
Let memories give joy to cries,
Let Love that’s lost revitalize.
And let my Love for you remind
You that, although I’m gone, I’m by your side,
