Lies

I lied when I said yes.
I lied when I told you I would.
I lied when you asked me I could.
I do not love you.
I will not marry you.
And I can not move on.
I lied and I am sorry.
I wrote you this poem to appologize,
To clear up all of my tales.

I lied when I said I forgive you.
I lied when I said it didn't hurt.
I lied when you asked me to be honest.
I can't forgive your unfaithfulness.
It tore me apart when you took her to bed.
And if I am honest, I did take those pills.
I lied and I am sorry.
I wrote you this poem to appologize.
I wrote it, and it will never meet your eyes.
