Scared Inside
The silence scares me,I'm too afraid
Some one knows,the truth I hide
Beneath this lie is a wonder of joy
for it has done some justice to all
Hear me now while I sit and wait
Wondering if this is just fate
But so many times I've lived this lie
I hear myself say…
"Roll of Thunder,Hear my Cry"

Just read all of your poems...all have great style with lots of energy. Amazing how you say so much with so few words. Some of us oldies could take a lesson from you.

I am touched by your reply. We all read different things into poems...which is really their beauty. I consider than an explanation with a poem to be passe. I read yours as the lie being more endurable than reality, but some form of catharsis is needed and shouting at the thunder does it, because although it has been said it will not be heard not be heard.
