Amazing....and Curious

He saw me.

Somehow...
amidst my elaborate camouflage...
and all my words...
I....had been found.
No...I ..had been found out.
He knew what was inside me
I didn't even have to tell him
In fact...
I'm not sure I even wanted him to know
Yet he...saw me...anyway.

Yet..no whistles blew
no buzzers went off
and  strangely enough
He did not wither ...
He did not disappear ....
He only regarded me...with a bit more curiosity
He actually ...wanted to know....more.
Amazing...
as I was stopped in my tracks....mid act
Like a deer caught in the headlights...
What curious lights they are...
When someone really cares enough
To want to know...
Who I really am
