Experience

Even had we never met,
Never spoken a word to eachother;
Never traded secrets and played the writing game...

Still would I have been happy
Because I got to know you through your words;
Got to live with you through heartbreak and tragedy,
Through love.

Because I got to see a glimps of life through your eyes and know you,
If even for a moments time.

If fate never sees fit to have us meet
Then I would be content with the knowledge that
You had me anyway.

Through pictures painted in my mind,
Through catching pieces of your thousand lives from your stories,
Through hopes � �and wishes � �and dreams...

And I would make that enough for me
Because I would rather have experienced knowing you
Than to have gone through life never having had that opportunity.
