Reflecting

Looking into the mirror
hating my reflection

its not ugly
its not hideous

its just not me
I remember who I was

well the last person I was
reincarnated many times

this time is different
nothing was erased

past knowledge lives on
my soul and body are not one with each other

I cant be someone new
when I am still me

I cannot forget
though I try

someone unrecognizable
stares back at me

my tear
falls down her face

to be one
yet another

knowing it
realizing it

everyday looking at someone
that it is not you

forcing myself to look
to reflect on my reflection
