One by One

Upon the cool mountaintops, what do you see my long lost friend?
In the coming winds, what do you hear my distant brother?
In the depths of the raging seas, what do you feel my love?

And that thrice may they come, one by one.
Before the morning dawns, one by one.
Harboring the moon at twilight’s eve, one by one.

Before your dismal fate, what do you see my long lost friend?
In the coming clouds, what do you hear my distant brother?
In the darkest chasm, what do you feel my love?

And that thrice may they come, one by one.
Before the morning dawns, one by one.
Harboring the moon at twilight’s eve, one by one.

Enter the lake before the shards of light are spent, my long lost friend.
Fly with the Spirit before the storm is calmed, my distant brother.
Abandon the cave before the breath of dawn, my love.

And that thrice may they come, one by one.
Before the morning dawns, one by one.
Harboring the moon at twilight’s eve, one by one.

Molded the seasons as one, my distant brother.
Flown without wings, my love.
Found without eyes, my long lost friend.
