Peaceful night

Soft rain hitting me skin.
Washing away my every sin.
Cold winds snatching my soul.
Making my heart feel once more whole.

Bright sun warming my heart.
Saving me once again from the dark.
The smell of fall  bringing me ease.
As I'm surrounded by the cool leaves.

Sensational coldness sending me to sleep.
For once tonight I will not weep.
Cricket chirps with in the night.
Bring me calmness I am not at fright.

Soundly sleeping in the woods.
One night finally sleeping is good.
Feeling protected by the trees.
My soul is happy and at peace.

Awaking slowly with the sun.
My peace only for now is done.
Smiling happily as I walk away.
I will be back for another stay.
